DiscOne Public Beta is Open

DiscOne — a CD player for Apple Music — is now open for public TestFlight on iPhone and iPad.

Streaming made music infinite, and somewhere in there, the album got lost. DiscOne brings back the ritual: a rack of CDs on one side, a boombox on the other, and the small ceremony in between.

How it works:

• Drag a disc off the rack and drop it in the player
• Hear the whir, then the album starts where the artist intended
• Flip any CD between spine and face; tap the spine on top of the player for liner notes

First-class VoiceOver labels with custom actions on every CD — you never have to drag — and a Reduce Motion alternative for every gesture. No analytics. No tracking. Requires an Apple Music subscription.
